D.Phunk was born in Nuremberg/Germany, conceived by his german mother and his american father. Throughout his youth he was confronted with two totally different cultures, so he had no choice, b.u.t. to take half and half from both sides, accepting the best and the worst from both worlds. Since his father was in the military, the family moved back and forth between Europe and the States. D.Phunk used this time wisely to learn, observe and fully comprehend the way of life in the United States and in Europe.

At an early age he encountered many different types and styles of music. The hip hop culture was the route he ended up choosing. Actually he really didn’t choose the music, b.u.t. the music chose him. Nowadays almost every original offspring listens to hip hop, soul, R&B, blues or jazz, it is definitely a very important part of his lifestyle.

Making a difference and being a part of something elemental, is of grave importance to D.Phunk, that is why he and his fellow a-alikes borned the “Noo Age”, the (Nation Of Originals Authentic Global Effect). Through his lyrics he knows he can fulfill one of his ultimate goals in life, giving those who lack awareness, some knowledge of self and to be able to identify themselves with a true cause.

D.Phunk is a man with a very clear and realistic perception, never over- or underestimating any type of obstacle or situation. He mainly lives his life like the 64 squares, planning every move carefully a step at a time and also covering all angles, a true born strategist. His word is his bond, therefore, he can only fail if he allows himself to do so!
